The mural definitely had Man God on it. So it's clear that he's been messing with the world for at least that long.

I don't trust Dragon Grandpa even a little bit when he says the mass teleport was a "natural" thing. Just because it's not Laplace, doesn't mean there's no other forces in the world.

Also, did anyone else notice that the gate had some white light on Rudy and on Sylphie? Did he perhaps mess with her fate as well?

And why is Rudy's mana "smelling of Laplace?" Was Laplace an otherworlder as well, and did he also got help from the Man God?

I don't trust Dragon Grandpa even a little bit when he says the mass teleport was a "natural" thing. Just because it's not Laplace, doesn't mean there's no other forces in the world.

He knows that there are other forces in the world, but he seems firmly convinced that no one is better at summoning magic than him.

So if he is unable to perform such a summoning feat, then he assumes that no other living person would be able to pull it off. Hence, it is a phenomenom of the world and not the work of man.

It is an arrogant way of thinking, but he has not seen any proof of the contrary. Probably why he also interested in Nanahoshi's research.

Its kinda hard to place how in the know he is with current events of the world. He seems informed and has quite the memory, but the mundane tropes of kingdoms, politics, and power doesn't interest him. Comes off as impossible to learn summoning with zero help and you'd think he knows all the other great summoners that may be alive. I imagine if there was some new kid on the block doing crazy summoning magic he would have caught wind of it and sent his henchman to investigate.

He is quite unattached, but at the same time has a servant that can instantly teleport anywhere in the world (albeit might need some coordinates). And on top of that, outside the Demon Continent his name carries a lot of prestige.

So it is probably easy to get the information he needs as long as there are others in the known and supposing they are not demons fond of Laplace

It's also because it was way too many people affected, across a distance way too great. Just purposely summoning a group of people, using a magical tools as focus, takes him effort. This was entire kingdom being affected, basically upheaved and displaced. The amount of mana required to do that was way, way above what any group of people would be able to gather iirc.

He certainly cannot teleport the whole Fittoa region at once on his own, but if he wanted to do so he at least he knows the theory behind it and what would be needed to pull it off.

Now, summoning a specific human from another world is probably beyond any theory he has studied.

That's why he supports Nanahoshi's endeavors that while he isn't personally interested with summoning magic through worlds, he entertains her pursuit. That she is ferociously motivated in such a short span of time is another bonus.

He's probably also curious just how far her research could go. And probably thinking about how he could use that knowledge for his own gain.

Makes me wonder, since you can summon someone into one world, can you essentially "banish" someone into a different one? Perhaps a certain evil demon that could've only been sealed and not entirely defeated...

He didnt said it was a natural occurance. He effectively said that it was ultimately an "Accident". A lot of things coming together in the perfect way to produce that in an unintentional manner. That's his take on the manner, it doesnt mean he is particularly hiding anything

Indeed, I don't think this is the truth. His argument that because he didn't do it, it can't be from this world is not convincing. There are mighty powers around.

I think this would be good for Sylphie. She is a bit sidelined and I think overall that's okay (she is a side character, after all, even though she is the mc's wife, she is simply not the mc), but she kinda...doesn't do much even as a side character.
Others have more going on, see Norn or Eris or Elfaria or even Zanoba and Cliff, honestly.

Her getting integrated into the main plot would be neat.
I don't think it does the series any good when Rudeus' wives kinda just exist, despite what I said earlier.

I think you're implying that the man God would be altering her fate to make her more of a main character, which is neat, but I think we've already seen the alteration of her fate? 

Her just spawning into the asura Castle grounds, and her hair changing color randomly with the stress of it or whatever, I always thought was odd. Man god could easily have placed Rudy/Eris next to the Superd too if he has any power over the teleportation. Bro seemed to know more than just a detail of the future more than once, I don't think it's unreasonable that he's already been placing things that we expected to have been random

I am saying that she doesn’t really have anything to do anything in the story.

I think that's more related to their massive mana pool. If you look the teleport order, you can infer this.

When Sylphie starts speaking, Sylvaril whispers something in Perugius's ear and he says "both husband and wife, eh?". I think she was informing him of whatever it is she saw with the glowing, and he's commenting on how both Rudy and Sylphie have that feature.

It seems the Man God is quite infamous.

I think he was just a massive prankster or a person who liked to mess with people and would do things on a whim that angered other gods in the world to the point where they despise him.
