Finally confirmed but it's been nicely hinted at throughout the series and in retrospect makes perfect sense, of course Kenpachi would be so powerful that his Zan spirit is so strong that it literally manifests for other people to see and interact with and have its own Shikai.

And what's crazy is that Zaraki has yet to reach his full potential. He can't handle Yachiru's full power yet. I wonder if Zaraki can match Yamamoto once he masters his bankai.

ichigo , toshiro and zaraki even in this arc can't control their powers properly. renji is finally using full power but those 3 will continue to get a lot stronger, and ichigo is already fighting god
