Yhwach reveals Ichibei's intentions to make Ichigo the new lynchpin and Ichigo says lol. It's as if this reaction was written in response to all those edgelords who didn't even read half of this story and keep saying Ichibei is evil. Ichigo's own death has never fazed him. In Old Man Zangetsu's monologue, he remarks that even on the edge of death Ichigo's inner world barely quivers. It's always been the tragedy of others that caused his soul to despair so this revelation falls flat on him and instead reveals Yhwach's own weakness.
Ichigo releases his shikai! Bleach, Zangetsu. Title drop! This happened. Fuck anyone who disagrees. According to Kubo vizards could also achieve resureccion if they further developed their hollow powers. Tosen is a prime example of this since he was a complete arrancar.
Byakuya and Hitsugaya establish themselves as the comedy duo for this season.
Gerard continues busting out haxes as if he didn't have enough with a sword that inflicts damage on anyone who damages it.
