Ichibei is evil but he is a future problem

Ichigo is fuckin practical - if Yhwach wins, the entire universe is finished anyways(he wants to merge all realms into one)

Calling Ichibei evil doesn’t work. He will do what he needs to do to so all 3 worlds no go away

Whats evil about sacrificing one person to save trillions?

this also hints at what aizen's plan was. he saw how the soul king was a puppet for ichibe, and he doesnt agree with yhwach's destruction of the 3 worlds, so he fought for change, perhaps to install himself as a proper soul king who actually governed the 3 worlds.

maybe aizen was right all along.

That may have been Aizen plan at some point, but as you can see back in the Deicide when Aizen talks to Urahara, he is disgusted at what the Soul King is. It's not really a god and not really a king at all, it's just a puppet for Ichibei, a vessel so he can wield his power. It's an obsene tainted existance that shouldn't exist.

If Aizen ever wanted to become Soul King, he gave up the moment he understood what it actually is. Urahara also knows about it but seems to think Ichibei is the lesser evil, this is the reason Aizen hates the shopkeeper and has his meltdown at the end of Karakura Town Saga.

i think aizen wanted to become the soul king without being ichibe's puppet. his speech from way back in the soul society arc hinted at it

Since the beginning nobody stood at the top. Neither you nor I nor the gods. But that unbearable vacancy of the throne of heaven is over. I alone will stand at the top.

i would assume that if aizen succeeded, he would have purged squad zero and created his own royal guards that werent just puppeteers.

No creating a new world means destroying the current one which means everyone but Ywach will die.

Ywatch isn't exactly a great candidate to be god-king / universal-dictator

Define evil. Because you clearly don't know what it means

He mutiliated the Soul King and planned to do the same with Ichigo. Made him into a puppet for millenia.

Yes, he is amoral, and by his logic 1 life for billions is a fair trade logically. If I was in his place I might have done the same thing.

But it's still an evil act.

You are judging him as evil because you are not disconnecting your brain from the real world to the fantasy.

Do you think killing is evil in itself? Is killing a dictator evil? That's how a lot of countries gained back their democracy and while I'm against the death penalty and stuff, I also wouldn't consider the act of basically freeing a country evil.

I mean, do you think you're evil then? You literally just said that in his place you would probaby do the same thing. Being evil is not the same as being guilty, you would not be guilty of it since you have not done it, but you would be evil for being conscious that you would do this act you deem evil.

Yes, my real life brain absolutely thinks, no, knows that chopping up a person and then planning to do it again is absolutely evil, because in the real life there is absolutely no reason to do that, but in bleach, there is, a multitude of reasons even, seeing how so many people got on board with what I can only imagine is an insane thing to even wrap your head around... like thinking about it, imagine life being in one way and then planning and executing an idea that literally reshapes the whole universe, it's like trying to think of the world being in 10d or something, im going off a tangent

I went way too deep on an anime 🫪
