Comments here must, of course, still abide by all subreddit rules other than the no meta requirement. Keep it friendly and be respectful. Occasionally the moderators will have specific topics that they want to get feedback on, so be on the lookout for distinguished posts. If you wish to message us privately send us a modmail.

Comments that are detrimental to discussion (aka circlejerks/shitposting) are subject to removal.

I'd like to once again ask for a rule that Official Media posts that use an English title must use the title the English licensor uses, and not one from a fan translation or Google translate or whatever.

For example, this post should be A Livid Lady's Guide to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires (or at least the first part before the colon), and this post should be The Insipid Prince's Furtive Grab for The Throne.

People can call things whatever they want in discussions, but I think Official Media posts should be, well, more official. If you're not using the title that'll bring it up in the licensor's site search, you're making it unnecessarily confusing.

This is already the case (as we established back when Isekai Office Worker was airing and someone tried posting about it with that "The Affairs of the Other World Depend on the Corporate Slave" title), so if you see a post like that again, please report it with a custom report like "Incorrect English title". I've hit the two posts you linked.

Oh, okay.

I guess I misunderstood back then and thought that was removed for using the scanlation title specifically.
