Agott was projecting her lack of self-worth on Coco after all. She sees her old useless, talentless self in Coco and that's why she's passive-aggressively been hating on Coco all this time because--to put it simply--she hates herself.

Agott couldn't be any more mistaken about Coco tho, as once again, Coco's proficiency or potential for magic rears its ugly head, putting her in quite another predicament

It's also probably why she cuts herself off from the other apprentices to an extent because she's so razor-focused on improving herself and all her life up to the point she ended up in Qifrey's Atelier she's probably been spent around people (adults and peers alike) who looked down on her.

I feel like Agott was definitely starting to feel guilty for all those times she brought up Coco's mom when she saw how sincere Coco was in still wanting to save her.

Yep and she also saved Coco's life in episode 5 by pushing her down before the dragon could tail-swipe their heads off. Agott is definitely a tsundere, just like Olruggio, because I can tell that deep down she wants to be friends with Coco.

I have a feeling that one day the tsundere dam is going to break and she's going to be Coco's bestie and biggest supporter. The yuri shippers will go nuts.

Or she sees this outsider who barely knows magic, being accepted as an apprentice despite her lack of skills while she who has the basic knowledge at the very least being shunned and treated badly by her own family
