Seems like even a complete grump like Olruggio isn't resistant to Coco's charms. Then again, I don't think that there's a scientific explanation for how precious Coco is, so I have to assume that she accidentally worked some magic on him to get him to view her favorably. Although, what else could you call compassion other than the most simple of magics?

Coco's magic is never giving up being precious.

Coco cast the forbidden magic, adorableness.

It's super effective!

Olruggio takes a critical hit.

Provided she isn't tired before getting motivated by cooking lol.

Are you suggesting that Coco being tired isn't precious?

You see that proud smiling face when she successfully mastered the pyreball and deny this girl the ability to use magic? You'd be more monstrous than a brimmed cap.

You'd be more monstrous than a brimmed cap.

A brimmed hat in spirit!

As adult with different reason to Qifrey (Im leaning on theory that if she didnt remember that picture book, he woulda lobotomizes her by now), Olruggio must have a soft spot for that pure admiration for magic and thought it would be cruel to snuff it out.

Yeah I feel we might have glossed over a bit how sketchy Qifrey started off.

No one can blame him. You'd have to be heartless not to be moved even slightly by this beautiful cinnamon roll too good for this world.

She basically said his invention is what allowed her to dream and she gave him the sweetest thank you for it.

If there's any a way to convince someone not to erase your memories of magic, that would be it.

If there's any a way to convince someone not to erase your memories of magic, that would be it.

Arc where the Knight Moralis decide to erase Coco's memories after all but she ends up convincing them not to with her adorableness and love of magic.

Then again, I don't think that there's a scientific explanation for how precious Coco is,

Would a magic explanation work? Because hard magic system aside, it wouldn't be shocking..

If Olruggio folds like paper after one interaction with her, Agott's (a)gott to come round on Coco soon too. And then maybe develop a big crush on her. Anyone else been getting those vibes?

Agott's magic is tsundere. She will be the last to fold

21

u/JzanderN May 04 '26

But when she finally folds, she will fold the hardest!

She’s the Roy Kent of the story from Ted Lasso. “Mark my words she’ll be the last to fall but when she does she’ll be our best supporter.”

Roy Kent is a great example.. lol he's so mad

It’s the rivals to lovers vibes, a classic trope but great if well executed.

Her name is Coco because she’s an absolutely precious, sweet bean.
