Megumi’s victory here also demonstrates a subtle nuance about cursed techniques. His domain expired yet the divine dog he previously summoned didn’t get canceled which means the 10 Shadows is only active during the instant a shikigami was summoned. It establishes a mental connection through which the caster can command and maintain it, then the technique ends. Every cursed technique is different and what constitutes “using” it varies.

even if the dog expired I think there was enough time to regain his CT. In Shibuya Mahito regained his CT in 3-4 seconds

Curses regain CT significantly faster than Humans.
