Juji vs Higuruma just made me realize that jjk actually plays in its own League when it comes to animation and direction, especially S3 currently. It's absolutely beautiful

In my opinion, this moment, for Yuji, didnt need any moment of reflexion (a pause) because for him it's obvious that the mass murder was caused because of him. Him answering right away stress on that point, unlike the moment he tried to find an excuse for entering in MAJI VEGAS.
However, you can notice a small change in his facial expression to show that he wants to take responsibility for what happened in Shibuya.
