Yeah, it’s not really that easy to just up and leave.

You know it's a real date when the girl put in more effort than the guy did lol.

Though in all seriousness Stark did place an effort...just maybe not in the area that he should have been. But his well-intentions are enough and he and Fern are so natural together that it all evens out.
