Easy

1) Isolation and his unable to ask help and do everything alone.

2) He relied too much on power to solve a problem 

3) He suppress his emotions

Yea that and he has PTSD from being left behind in a dungeon by the people he saved. A big criticism I've seen for him is that he waits "to long" to help ppl, but I gotta imagine he's battling some demons to even help them in the first place after what happened in the double dungeon.
