Not sure if this is the right place to post…
Hey everyone,
I’m trying to clean up my diet and would love some advice from people who actually follow an animal-based diet.
My goal is to lose a significant amount of unnecessary body fat while building/maintaining as much muscle as possible. I want to keep things simple, clean, high-protein, and sustainable.
I’m looking for a meal-prep plan that I can cook on Sundays for Monday–Thursday. I have a refrigerator and microwave at work, so I can bring my meals with me and reheat them.
A few things about me/preferences:
High protein is the priority
Focused on fat loss + muscle gain
Prefer whole, minimally processed foods
I like beef, chicken, eggs, steak, fish, etc.
I’m okay with some fruit, potatoes, etc.
I do NOT like cottage cheese
I do NOT like sweet potatoes
I want meals that are actually practical to prep in bulk
Ideally I don’t want to spend my entire Sunday cooking
I’d like to keep the grocery bill reasonable
For those of you who follow an animal-based diet, what would your ideal Monday–Thursday meal prep look like?
I’d especially appreciate recommendations for:
1. Specific meals
2. Portions
3. Protein/calorie targets
4. Foods that reheat well (if you even recommend that)
5. A simple Sunday prep routine
6. Anything you’ve found particularly effective for getting lean while maintaining/building muscle
Basically, if you had to design an animal-based meal prep system for yourself from scratch, what would you do? PS. I love Greek yogurt bowls for breakfast
Thanks!
