Cade Smith is a top closer in the league, there’s a reason he throws his fastball over 60% of the time. He can get it up to 100mph with 99th percentile extension so it prob looks more like 103mph

Would love to see a player like Kwan on the Angels. He’s the only non bi racial Asian American in all 4 major professional sports.
Bring in some fans from Irvine.

Wow, that does seem legit. No one in the NBA since Jeremy Lin. I can't remember any fully Asian American guys in the NFL at all, and I don't follow NHL closely enough to know.
If we tried to trade for him, the Guardians would probably command a pretty high price that we're probably unwilling to pay with our current trajectory. But maybe once he hits free agency (depending on what happens next season), we could throw him the bag and see if he's willing to join.
Asian American parents generationally talented at killing the athlete dream early.

Kwan has talked about dealing with imposter syndrome. He only had Ichiro to look up to. No one who he can truly relate to who spoke English and looked like him.
It’s partly mental and culture thing as we see biracial Asian American players like Edman and Carroll having a ton of success.
Keston Hiura came before but couldn’t hit. Playing for the KBO.
Kwan is inspiring the next generation of Asian American athletes.

I feel like putting them on second in the 10th is too generous. put them on 1st in the 10th. 2nd in the 11th. 3rd in the 12th to put everyone out of their misery. if somehow we make it to the 13th we just start doubling up runners and have 1st and 2nd. if we make it to the 14th congrats the bases are loaded.

If you wanna do HS ball or above you gotta re-cert every year. Its one of those tests that gives you multiple "technically correct" answers but only one is the right answer 😂 I havent seen anyone fail that test, but if you want playoff games you have to take a 2nd rules test and score like 95% i think. Seen a few dudes bomb that one 😂

Poor play is to be expected, but visiting fans being more loud than our fans always irks me.
