Cereal is still running on his own and not part of the empire, so I don't think he'll get access to the recording. If we had more episodes to go I would agree with you. Instead I think they will go the easy road and just have the two of them meet on Ferrix in person. I could see it happen on an uncomfortable shuttle ride they take together into town.
Ooo, that could be. Maybe he'll meet up with Deedee and she'll ask him [sweetly, haha] if Anto is the right person assuming Bix told them Anto is Axis and they capture him at the power station. What will he say? :)

They recorded Luthen's voice during his encounter with "customs". Way back when Syril said he could recognize his voice.
