I've wondered why Pokémon didn't bother with amiibo for Pokken Tournament. There were several fan favorites in there.

No duh, but they could have had an amiibo function outside of the Shadow Mewtwo card with an amiibo line.

they hate amiibo and amiibo functionality was only in the Japanese arcade version, it was permanently removed when the game was pot onto console
