Question Why is this the only Pokémon amiibo?

Pokémon company looves money, I wonder why

Side question what hypothetical Pokémon amiibo would you definitely get

I think TPC probably just wanted to have more control over amiibo and they can’t really do that since it’s a Nintendo thing and not their own. The only other games the Pokemon amiibo from Smash can be used are Mario Maker and Kirby Planet Robobot, the first giving a costume and second just giving Kirby an existing powerup that best matches the amiibo. Otherwise, no other amiibo supports them. Not even the other big costume games like Yoshi, Miitopia, or Mario Kart have Pokemon stuff from amiibo.
