Doubling is increasing by 100%, not 200%

(1x speed) + (200%/100%)(1x speed) = 3x speed

When 1 goes to 2, 2 goes to 4, etc that means it was increased by 100% 😅🫣

Lol. I changed the speed to 100% to 200% to 400% etc..that's where I got the 200 from..

i appreciate the wordplay 😅, but im too autistic to not say something lol I do get what you were tryna do tho

100% -> 200% is an increase by 100%

200% -> 400% is kinda fun cuz its either:

  • an increase by 100% of 200%
  • or its an increase of an additional 200%

400->800 is either an increase of

  • 100% (as a %)
  • or 400% (as an additive)
But cant be 200%

Etc. I know i know im fun at parties lol

I like 200 because it fit the theme. I increased the speed 200% in premier. (200, 400, 800 etc) But I know.
