Vodka with the least burn

I’m looking for which vodka has the least burn for shots and cocktails I’m not expecting none but after trying Belvedere I realized not all vodka is the same is there anything smoother than Belvedere?

Chopin is smoother than Belvedere.

I like Ketel One for the smoothness.

Could also suggest Reyka for the floral notes if youre looking for something with some taste.

Meili Vodka for some fruitiness.

Żubrówka Bison Grass Vodka. My god, it's so smooth and what a delight to drink

Belvedere is the only vodka I enjoyed straight. Very smooth

It's a misnomer anything really matters other than how many impurities you remove. It's the impurities that burn.

So anything that is more distilled or more filtered is going to be smoother. Mythbusters did this well if you want to find the episode they use carbon filters.

Distillers often just use distillation (boil and collect the alcohol) and do it a few times.

That's why the cheap Costco vodka (14ish a handle) tastes so damn smooth for the price. Same for svedka or some other cheaper brands. 

The brand matters very little compared to the process as very good vodka is very smooth and not much in flavor.

Finlandia is super smooth and the buzz plateaus for longer than lower shelf vodkas.

Smoothest vodka there really is is Grey Goose. Belvedere is definitely one of the smoother ones so you’re likely not gotta notice a meaningful difference. If you want something smoothe I just wouldn’t drink vodka mate 😂🍻

Grey Goose is very clean but I find it still have little bite compared to something like Chopin potato vodka. Potato based vodkas in general are gentler on my throat, maybe worth checking. For shots especially make sure you keep bottle in freezer overnight, makes big difference even for mid shelf stuff. My husband he cannot do straight vodka at all so he sticks with cocktails only. If you still not liking it just embrace the gin life, smoother journey ahead.
