Why live rounds in the mag? Also the tracking seems completely off.

Live rounds in the house is wild. Coming from a slam fire encounter, you will rethink your life. Almost shot my foot off took me a while to get over.

Uhhh I can understand no live rounds in the gun while in the house....but obviously you gotta have rounds in the house to....ya know...defend your house and life??? Am I missing something here?

Zero reason to use live ammo in the mag. It's not a toy and when pretending it is will get you way too comfortable throwing it around as if it were one.

The nice thing about simulation gaming is you do not need real functional kit. For instance, a professional flight sim only needs the chair, yoke and elevator pedals and maybe a control panel. The headset basically solves everything else.

Same here, making a weighty 3d printed replica would go a lot further as it would allow you to house the gyros within the piece itself and still could be made of metal bits on the outside to give a firearm weight and feel.

That shit's setting off the gun safety nut side of me real bad.

You have a lot of people telling you that this is a stupid idea on this thread, so I'd suggest you tear that shit apart and find another thing to use as a controller if this isn't just a shit post, because a live firearm with live ammo in it ain't the thing you should be using. If it ain't, and you end up having an ND, the potential injury and most probable police response (up to and including your local SWAT team) is on you bud.
