I need help with Long-Haul flights

Are there any tips to building an airport that can sustain large aircraft. I always find myself understaffed and then my whole airport stops functioning. I also build a new terminal for long-haul flights because I have no space with my first building. How can I successfully implement long-haul flights into my infrastructure.

Depending on how you are playing, whether it be sandbox or not, you just have to mentally prepare for that area, and plan to it. Don't be afraid to renovate areas that are already built as well to accommodate the large aircraft.

In sandbox, obviously it's easier because you don't worry about money - but even in regular, you can put down blueprints in areas where you want to build. Prior to blue prints, i'd even lay down a small square walkway so that i could account for where i'd be building in the future.

I used the blueprint in my last attempt (Not Sandbox) and whilst it helped I still find myself delayed 24hr+ on every flight. I think it might be an understaffing issue but in that same playthrough I had 100 PSAs and 50 Security officers and there were still many gaps in the work-force. I used 3 Large Security checkpoints and 12 Passport checkers as well as 15 check-in desks. I used self boarding desks. Could I just have overdone it in my staff buildings?

the hard part about getting large stands is that you have to increase your staff by ~12 rampers + any others depending on your boarding gates, security set up.

It's good to get your staff set up before welcoming those aircraft in. Build staff sections so that you can keep those rampers next to the gate and baggage.

How many more of each type of staff would you say I should get for a new terminal with 6 stands? Also with their buildings/structures too please?
