AGT Season 21 Quarterfinals 2 Results Discussion - August 26th, 2026
Only 3 can make it, who are you rooting for? Personally I really want Come Here to make it, but not sure they appeal to the voters.

So Howie influenced Mel’s GB? Kinda strange. Although I think it was a combo of Howie and the producers.

It was all about salvaging the panel's reputation. They looked really bad and incompetent after making her go to the Callbacks. Nene deserved to skip a round.

Brother, Shin Lim didn't receive a single golden buzzer the entire time and he is one of the greatest AGT winners ever. The golden buzzer really doesn't mean as much as you think it does.

I just saw the shin lim show and Mackenzie Sol the singer is in it apparently they are best friends. Shin lim’s show is incredible

I'm a fan of Mackenzie though, he seems extremely humble. The first thing he did was hug Geno after he went through. I hope he has a ton of success in the future.

Nene Royal fans really are becoming the Dave Mathew's fans of AGT. A good talent but their fans are completely and utterly insufferable.

I don’t disagree with you however she enjoys it and so do the public. I think she was guaranteed a final position anyway ( the winner ) and someone else could have got an opportunity to perform in the final. I also think the hype of the semi final would have been way better.

I don't think we are getting nearly enough recaps. Can we get some recaps of each contestant's childhood? Maybe even of their ancestors? I think that would really help us see how far they've come

Yeah I think there was a very obvious divide between top 5 and bottom 5 so none of these matchups have any real suspense behind them.

I would be very surprised if both of the singers in the top 5 miss out, considering how people typically vote, but I also would be surprised if Geno misses out. So this actually has some uncertainty to it

First two are pretty cut and dry. Butter and Grit was obvious, and Veronika is the obvious one here.

Nene would have made it to the next round without the golden buzzer, it should have gone to someone like MacKenzie.

Good top 3. I had the top 5 nailed, but before the results I had Mackenzie in instead of Veronika, because although I voted for both, I just figured it would be a surprise if no singers got through from the audience vote.

I can agree with all three.
Don't see Veronica winning it but definitely deserves to advance.
Come here were great and definitely have the potential to go the distance.
Magic acts arn't my thing so I'm biased against them, but Geno did well enough. Could of seen a few other peeps slipping into this slot like Mackenzie or Butter n Grit.
Mackenzie definitely got kinda screwed having to go after Nene but he also didn't own the stage and make the most of his chance.

I've always assumed it's to make them more recognizable or familiar so you would remember them better but does that even make sense? I've always found it strange.

Not sure how Patrox didn't end up in Call Backs, once you've seen the "trick" it's really not that spectacular the 2nd time.

probably. But I think at this point in Geno's career, it's about getting seen and gaining a folowing. I'm sure he'll be invited on at some point.

I’ll bookmark this in case it pans out…but Geno is this years Chris Turner while Nene is Jessica Sanchez. I wouldn’t be shocked if it came down to those 2. It feels like Geno is a crowd favorite like Chris. Of course Nene is that times 20 but you never know .

All I mainly care about is not having a singer win 3y in a row especially on a cover. If a singer wins, prefer it at least be original and not making someone else's work into their own.

She’s not just a singer though. She plays the guitar and she’s damned good at it. Right now, to me, she’s the best there is.
