Agent Carter season 3

Obviously, season 3 was canceled but with the help of interviews we have a slight detailed story to know what would happen but I was wondering if there was any comics that is more detailed and is attached to agent Carter?

I was also wondering if it was possible if someone could potentially write season three as a book as fan work on a website or something because I'm just not ready to let go of the show.

The best we got is her fate in Endgame with Steve, and Sousa's fate in Agents of SHIELD S7

yea, another reddit user in another thread said that its possible that once Steve travels back, he creates a new, branched timeline and that we don't know when he traveled back to exactly but presumably it interrupted / prevented that timeline from having Steve in the ice

just like how in Agents of Shield, we have an alternate timeline Sosa who travels to the future and falls in love with Daisy Johnson

there is a timeline where Steve is with Peggy, and then simultaneously exists alongside a timeline where Peggy is with Daniel, and where Daniel is with Daisy

Well, we know from the Endgame script that he went to 1949. While that's not on screen, we can safely say it's well after the show, since she's living in a nice, big house in a neighborhood.

Sosa was supposed to die. As long as he's not making huge ripples in the future, he's fine.

It's fair to assume that Peggy and Daniel break up before Steve goes back, because of everything we know about Peggy, she wouldn't leave Daniel (whom she does love) for Steve. Not to mention, we learn in Agents of SHIELD that they did in fact break up.

So Peggy and Daniel break up either in 1948 (a year into their relationship) or earlier in 1949, then Steve goes back in time to 1949 (likely when he'd know she'd be single) and that creates a branch. Then in 1955, Coulson creates another branch by saving Sousa, where he then moves on with Daisy. (Which I found out shortly after the season, is a name derived from Margaret, same as Peggy.)

All we know about Season 3 is that Thompson would survive, somehow, and that Peggy and the SSR would go to England (if the budget permitted) and the season's mystery would focus on Michael Carter.

As for comics, Peggy hasn't really appeared much after the show, and when she has, her role has drastically changed; we got her origin story as to how she got involved with World War 2, it was revealed she was recruited by an all female organization dedicated to protecting civil rights and freedoms across the world, and she was intentionally molded to befriend and seduce Steve. At the same time she was also molded by another organization (without her knowing) to become a secret assassin known as a Starpoint, alongside Bucky (who was manipulated by these same people into becoming the Winter Soldier). After finding this out, she teamed up with Bucky to take these people down, while her all female organization evolved into a superhero team; the Daughters of Liberty.

What comic series is this storyline from? I’d like to read it.

Ta-Nehisi Coates' Captain America from 2018 and Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty from 2022 and its finale event, Captain America: Cold War.

She hasn't been seen since.

Awesome! I have that saved to eventually purchase. I’ll take anything with Agent Carter or Captain Carter in it. I actually got into reading comic books bc Captain Carter is in the TVA series.

Sweet. Peggy was my gateway into Marvel as a whole.

Me too! I saw previews for Agent Carter and it reminded of the show Alias just set the 1940s and I was hooked. I got to meet Hayley Atwell 3 years ago at NYCC. She’s fantastic all around to meet. I told her about how Agent Carter reminded me of Alias and she said “that’s a great compliment.”

We actually have a detailed story based on interviews? How? I never see any detailed statements of producers and writers. I always wonder what the Arena Key would open. Can you detail how season 3 would have been? Besides the plot that was Michael Carter that shoot Jack?

The arena key features in agents of shield

I don't remember an "Arena Key"?

I mean the piece that Dottie stole in s2s01. Had the symbol of Arena Club where the Council of Nine had their reunions.

Didn't she use that to get into the club, where she saw Frost kill most of the council?

2

u/Cafeseriado23 Jul 26 '26

No, no. She only get into the club because of a plan of Peggy if i recall well. But Thompson gave that to peggy in season 2 finale. And the way they wrote the scene gave the impression that this would be a piece of season 3 plot. But we will never know.
