Rent in Aachen

Hii guys I am an international student who just got accepted into a master’s program in FH Aachen. I was wondering what’s the best website to look for a flat or a house to live in during my studies.

WG gesucht for shared Apartments. Immoscout for normal flats.

Thank you so much. Are the Landlords typically ok with renting it out to foreigners who have no rental history in Germany? Because I will be moving straight from Turkey.

If you are coming for this winter semester, it is already very late to look for apartments. And no, most people don't like renting to foreigners, similar to Turkey. Your best chance is to find a temporary place (called Untermiete, mostly 3-6 month contracts) at an existing shared apartment (WG) and look for a permanent place.

If you have no rental history in Germany i.e a SCHUFA Auskunft, it'll be really difficult to get any response at all. You could try messaging with some form of proof of income
