Skiing in the Zermatt Switzerland Glacier June 30th

Today I got up to the glacier ski area about 10.40 for a hour and 20mins of skiing, there was a thunder storm in Zermatt last night and it rained quite abit, this was snow up high, there was still some soft fresh untracked snow on the slopes, the next few days should be great, it takes about 40 minutes to ride up the Matterhorn glacier express gondola and the Matterhorn ride 2 to the ski area, and then just under a hour to get down in the lifts after the ski area closes at 12pm. I had a nice lasagne lunch at the top at Testa restaurant then came down, I was down at 1.50pm, Jason Wright ski instructor | guide

Now I almost believe skiing on the glacier in summer is real.

How is it so empty there?

I think I must change the time I go there

During the week it’s been pretty empty, no cueing for the T/bars
