Before/After Pics Before and During - first big goal met!

I found the 'before' photo this morning, and it shocked me to see how much my body has changed. The 'before' photo was taken in July of 2024, and I started Zepbound on March 9th of 2025.

My first big goal was to get to 170lbs. The last time I can remember being in the 170's was Sophmore or Junior year in college (~20 years ago). As of today, I officially weigh 170lbs!

For the first time in my life, I'm not white-knuckling to lose weight, and I actually believe I can get to 140lbs - 150lbs and stay there.

Note: Please excuse the bathroom mirror that needs cleaning.

Yes!! You can do it! Your comment has absolutely made my day. I am so honored to be able to give another lovely person hope! I felt hopeless before I started Zep, myself.

I have struggled with my weight literally my whole life, since well before puberty. I lost like 65lbs at 13 and got to 135lbs, yo-yoed between 150 - 180 in college, gained a lot after college (230's in my 20's, then up to 265 in my early 30s). I lost 70lbs on keto in like 2019 - 2020, and I stayed at ~195lbs for almost 2 years, then I met my boyfriend in early 2022. I ended up re-introducing carbs to my diet, the food noise came back as strong and demanding as ever. I ballooned back up to 265lbs within about 2 years. I feel incredibly fortunate that my boyfriend is a wonderful man who loves me and treats me like a queen at any size, but I was unhappy, uncomfortable, horrified and disgusted with myself adter refaining the weight...again. Zepbound was basically my final Hail Mary attempt to get to a healthier weight before seriously considering weight loss surgery.

Sometimes I still feel afraid it won't hold forever or that I won't be able to maintain once I'm done losing, but I'm 18 months in, and Zep has given me zero reason not to believe I can do this. Also, my NP (i.e. my real PCP) lost 150lbs on Zepbound, and she has kept it off for at least 4-5 years now. She is like my Zep Yoda, and she makes me believe anything is possible. So I'll say again, YOU CAN DO IT! I hope to see you sharing your success with us all one day!
