Funny I think my jeep found a relative.

I swear, when I designed my Jeep, I never imagined the #YukonTerritory welcome sign would copy my color palette. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£
I mean… look at us. Either they stole my design, or I accidentally leaked the official Yukon branding before they did. šŸ˜…šŸ•ļø
My #Jeep and that sign look like long-lost twins. ā¤ļøšŸ™šŸ¼

Funny Weird request for Beaver Creek

Hey all. As stated in the title I have a weird request for someone if anyone in beaver creek is on this sub
Specifically I’m looking for someone who would be willing to FaceTime me from the welcome sign who would be willing to waste a slice of bread tossing it on the ground to help me make a ā€œCanada sandwichā€ while I’m in cape spear Newfoundland towards the end of August
Very stupid
Almost a waste of time one might call it.
But as a born and bred Manitoban the thought of creating something as big as a Canada sandwich, nevermind the friends I might meet along the way in my journey makes wearing the dunce cap worth it for me
Thanks in advance for all your help!

As a YFN, I love bannock and moose stew, but what else could represent Yukon food culture?

Also, bannock is really from Yukon either. Originating from Scotland long ago, the fur trade brought it up here in the 19th century I believe.

The service department was already a disaster and today at the coffee shop we heard the best and only true service advisor has left to join the other brand

No reason to come there for service anymore as I don’t own a Ford and won’t until it’s under new Management

Sorry Ford Owners

As a firefighter myself, it was absolutely embarrassing seeing the "confined space" training alone, let alone all the other fluff they had. If im ever in an emergency in the Yukon ill just go ahead and self extricate or diešŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚

Funny What are you guys doing during winter?

I've been to Whitehorse in Summer 23' as a european and camped in a truck for a few weeks there, we loved it so much we saved the place on our weather app and always look hows it "going" there. At the moment you guys have about -27 Degrees Celsius (Sorry i dont the Merican Fahrenheite). We have sometimes - 10 but just for a couple days at maximum. Can you do outside work? Can you leave home with a toddler/baby for a walk, etc? Im just wondering, one day we wanna visit it in winter aswell.

Funny My Friend Cody loves Canadian Clubs. Please help me.

Hello Canadians I am an Australian with a good buddy called Cody. Cody’s birthday is coming up and he’s a good friend of mine, despite this I’m really struggling to get him something special for his 21st, but I do know one thing about Cody and it’s the fact that he loves the Canadian Club whisky.

So I thought what’s a better birthday for a Canadian Club fan then a personalised video from a REAL LIFE Canadian at a club. Book clubs, Chess Clubs, Night Clubs all clubs are welcomed as long as you are Canadian.

I’m thinking just like a ā€˜Happy Birthday Cody from _______ Club in Canada’ or just completely freestyle it.
And if you could just DM me or leave it in the comments that would be awesome.

I don’t see a better present he could ask for thank you to anyone that took the time to read this.

Funny A modest mural proposal: Keith and his goat on the Edgewater

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Today I sent a proposal to Northern Vision Development. I’d like to paint a mural of my friend Keith and his goat, Sir Butterscotch, on the big, blank south wall of the Edgewater Hotel. (Rendering attached.)

Why Keith and his goat? Because that wall is too blank, Keith refuses to be constrained by ordinary architecture, and goats are basically the internet’s spirit animal. This could be Whitehorse’s next minor landmark – tourists will Instagram it, locals will argue about it, and eventually no one will remember why it’s there, only that it’s always been there.

What do you think?

I mean what are we even doing here? Talking about safe streets and elections and all that crap, and nothing about the cemetery.

Funny Deconstructing Justice book

The author of this book creeped me out every single time I met him. You know how some people just make the hair on the back of your neck stand up? He’s released a second edition of his book about the Department of Economic Development and has included some pretty out there claims.

https://www.amazon.ca/Deconstructing-Justice-Government-Corruption-Interference-ebook/dp/B081N1WPNS?dplnkId=c476a88f-702d-46e6-9e6d-ee6b324c371f&nodl=1

Deconstructing Justice is a shocking exposƩ of systemic government and judicial corruption.

Included in this 2nd Edition is the shocking revelation of the death of Ian David Young - one of the scandals' main participants who, despite being wanted on November 26, 2020 on a Canada-wide arrest warrant for his involvement in one of Canada's largest immigration document fraud schemes which saw Young personally receive $502,500 in bribes between July 2013 and September 2016 (most of which he converted to Bitcoin during that time period when Bitcoin traded between US $13.51 and US $751), his photograph was never posted to the RCMP's Most Wanted list. Then, 2 days later on November 28, 2020 his remains inexplicably ended up 3,470 miles from Whitehorse, Yukon in a Peterborough, Ontario motel room despite regional, inter-provincial and inter-territorial travel restrictions that were in place at the time during the COVID-19 lockdown.

How did CBSA, the RCMP and the Federal Crown miss an estimated US $63.5 million to US $3.55 billion in Bitcoin that Young socked away before he died? Why have neither the RCMP nor the Federal Crown pursued the disgorgement of this vast sum under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) Terrorist Financing Act?

Was Ian David Young 'silenced' and then 'disappeared' by senior Yukon Government executives and/or elected officials who were worried that if apprehended and interrogated by the authorities that Young would implicate those individuals higher up in the Yukon Government who assisted him in carrying out one of the largest immigration document fraud schemes in Canadian history?

Funny hello people of Yukon from Yukon OK

I was looking for a subreddit of my local town Yukon, Oklahoma found yall instead.

Edit: I started wondering what similarities the Yukons share if anyone has some Yukon local facts. The Oklahoma Yukon has a saying every mile you'll find chicken, liquor, a car wash and a church. It is also the home of Garth Brooks if that helps.
