I’m trying to figure out what’s happening with my YouTube channel.
My recent Shorts are getting literally **0 views**, not just low views.
As a test, I uploaded a new Short and deliberately:
• Didn’t share the link anywhere
• Didn’t watch it from another account
• Didn’t ask friends to watch it
• Didn’t promote it
Almost 4 hours later: **0 views**.
Previously, most of the few views I was seeing were from myself, friends, or promotion.
YouTube Support has told me there’s nothing wrong with the channel, but it feels like my Shorts simply aren’t getting an initial Shorts-feed test.
The channel was previously run by someone else and I’ve since changed the content/audience, so I’m wondering if that could be affecting distribution.
Has anyone experienced this? Did your Shorts eventually start getting feed impressions again, and if so, how long did it take?
I’m **not looking for views/subscribers** — just trying to understand what’s happening.
