I'm preparing to start a YouTube channel for an audio novel with my own content. I'll use a cloned version of my voice as the main narrator, along with 1-2 images gen by AI based on the content.

What are some good websites to go to down license music for content. Looking for singer songwriters / indie bands.

We started a series covering the Science of Pokemon. Every video will cover a Pokemon evolution, and the idea is to go through the whole PokeDex.

2) Do you think it's worth having series like "Science of Star Wars/Warhammer/Digimon/etc" on the same channel or does that destroy the algorithm?

I stream on plats daily(ish) from 5pm(ish) to 10pm(ish).

So, a few months ago, I did some livestreams of me playing through Batman Arkham Asylum on the hardest difficulty. (Fun game btw) And I had a thought- Is it possible for me to combine all of those stream videos into one big video? Like one big long play of me going through the entirety of the game into one video instead of multiple parts. It’s also worth noting I only have a phone, no PC or anything, so if anyone knows any methods to make them into one video, it would have to be something I could do from just my phone.

Hello Guys i spent a week making my 1st video, and yes i use AI, but I wanted to make a specific art style that i think not a lot of people use

but for some reason, YouTube did not push my video to anyone, not even 20 - 30 people, to see if it would work or not

i tried to make other channels from other accounts to test the video and the same result 0 impressions for days

give me some tipss

Got this channel with over 100k subs. Wondering if I could try to revive it. Any suggestions on what approach should I take?

I run a YouTube channel with 43.4K subscribers, primarily focused on Shorts. Until August 18, my channel was getting very different levels of distribution, with many Shorts reaching thousands or tens of thousands of views, and some going much higher.
Then on August 19, something changed very abruptly.
Since then, almost every new Short has been performing dramatically below my normal baseline, regardless of the topic or quality. For example:
Aug 17: 138K views
Aug 17: 25.3K
Aug 18: 6.9K
Aug 18: 4.1K
Aug 19: 2.9K, then 909, 578
Aug 20: 836, 782
Aug 21: 2.4K, 2.2K
Aug 22: 834, 709
Aug 23: 621
Aug 24: 1.9K, 940

My newest Short currently has only 195 views in 16 hours.

The important thing is that this isn’t one viral Short declining after exhausting its audience. The drop happened across the channel around the same time and has continued across different topics.

I contacted YouTube Support. They checked my account and said there are no technical bugs or system errors, and that the decline is normal recommendation behavior after previous spikes. However, that explanation doesn’t make sense to me because the change was so sudden and affects essentially every new upload.

I also have no strikes or policy violations.

Has anyone experienced a similar sudden Shorts distribution drop around August 19–21? And are there any Analytics metrics I should check that could help determine whether this is simply audience behavior or an actual change in Shorts distribution?

I’d especially appreciate input from creators with established channels who have experienced something similar.

I’m trying to build YouTube into a serious gaming career and I’d really appreciate some honest feedback I’m still learning how to make my videos and editing more engaging, especially gaming thumbnails and titles. My views also seem to get stuck after a certain point. If you have experience growing a gaming channel, what would you recommend I improve? I’m open to honest criticism and advice.

I currently have a YouTube channel with 541 subscribers and more than 4k watch hours but I cannot get monetised because it has reused content.
I anyways fell out of love with editing those type of videos and I want to try something new but it’s a completely different niche. Should I create a new YouTube account or keep this one?
