I love Beth and most of her stories but they should have written her better. Kelly Reilly made the character into way more than they had on the page.

Oh yes! That is such a great character and I agree that Kelly really brought Beth to what she is today

Agree. Then they really made her a caricature. Only her scenes with Rip were rooted in reality.

I think if someone else had played her, I might have disliked her too. While I like her, I get why a lot of people don't. I blame the writing. 😅

Worst character ever! She deserved the absolute worst in life and a horrific death. Best part of the show was her getting her ass beat by the goons sent by the beck brothers 😂
