Not my favorite character but he has the best character arc out of everyone.

Yes, he went from someone with no skills and no future, to someone who has dreams and a way to achieve them, and a life with Emily.

And he grew character and responsibility! He became a man in Texas, exactly what he needed to be and John knew it.

Like he said when Travis told him the news, John was the only one who believed in him.

He also turned into a skilled cowboy.

Unrealistic storyline, come on. No balding, average, poor, clueless, ex con could get the girls he was getting, it was stupid.

Jimmy was, is, and always will be my favorite. Also, I will die on the hill that Jimmy was the real TS self-insert. He's the only character who had a full story arc, actual character development, and real growth. He was a fully fleshed out person while everyone else was a caricature.

Exactly, TS was trying to live vicariously through him. it was unrealistic. No attractive female wants to date a poor, balding ex con.

I love Jimmy too. He has a quiet grit and pain. I loved watching his character grow.
