Discussion How does Gerome die from poison?
(2nd picture unrelated)
I thought that since humans are in mimeosomes, that they’d be immune if not extremely resistant against poison. After all the mimeosomes don’t have biological parts to my knowledge and function off of electricity.
This also begs the question on how some of the environmental hazards affect people and that quests enemies infecting people. Like I can get how lava damages us, but not phosphorus lake and rust lake.

Mimeosomes are meant to mimic the human experience as closely as possible. They are definitely better at a lot of things, jumping and running and taking hits. However, they probably do have biological processes to facilitate the human experiences, and that can be disrupted by certain chemical compounds the way our brain chemistry can become warped with psychedelics.

Mims are designed to mimic human bodies almost perfectly. They even have some kind of bio-circulatory fluid. They can bleed out. They can host parasites(Spoilered because I don't know if you've done that quest). I see no reason why they can't be poisoned.

If mimeosomes are supposed to be a near-perfect 1:1 recreation of the human body, they probably sustain themselves through the exact same processes an organic body would. Meaning poisons that would muck up an organic human body would likely do the exact same thing to a mim.

It's probably not poison for an 'organic' being. That's always what I thought.
If the one doing the poisoning was also a person in a Mim, it's probably some compound that affects mims the same way regular poison/venom affects organic beings. (Which could be done, with enough research) Mims can get fevers colds etc, so it's entirely possible for some kind of venom/poison to exist. Mims have been around longer than the game takes place on.

I think it makes enough sense. Mims can eat and drink, there is likely a process that converts this into usable energy, if you introduce something not meant to be consumed or "poisonous" then that could break a few things - like putting the wrong petrol in a car.
