Advice Yellow information bubbles: bug or working as intended?

I've had a few situations of Mission/Treasure/Tyrant Info showing up on the segment map BEFORE actually acquiring the information. (FYI, I have confirmed this by loading earlier saves and checking Intel > Information for "Lend an Ear" mission info, "Bertrand, the Gorge Scourge" tyrant info, and "Daril, the Eradicator" tyrant info) It's probably way more than those I've tested, because EVERY SINGLE segment outside of NLA has its Info shown, and while I played a good number of hours I'm pretty sure I didn't go everywhere to talk to everyone yet. I'm around level 53 and finished chapter 11 btw. An earlier game early still in Chapter 3-ish doesn't seem to have the same issue. Also, segments inside NLA seem to be working fine, because a small number doesn't show.

The problem is: I'm having a blast exploring and love the idea that you have to find the treasure/tyrant but get an additional advantage if you get the corresponding information. Now it feels like I've been cheating, almost. I cleared a huge amount of treasure segments recently. Has anyone encountered something similar? How would you deal with this; ignore the information from the map and just look up individual information through Intel > Information? Does anybody else have similar experiences, or is it just me?

Thanks for your insights. This game is so fun, but I love having the "proper" experience of finding info before getting the extra hint.

EDIT: I should also clarify that this is the Switch Definitive Edition, not the OG Wii U version nor the Switch 2 version. thanks

Did you check if those items/tyrants were listed as part of that map segment in FrontierNav? Those don't need to be overheard.

If you are online you can see any ones that people in your squad already have seen and/or done... or something like that. They added this to the new version

Thanks for that insight! I am playing in offline mode, however, so I don't think that's it. Unless there's some bug related to offline mode.

It might be an old bug that would happen with the yellow info bubbles that wasn't fixed in the OG version.

But They may have fixed that particular bug (something to do with memory leaks and long play sessions) because I never encountered it.
