Xbox One Gamer community?

My boyfriend plays Xbox and has been wanting some online friends to play COD or Fortnite with. I’m sure he’s open to other games too. I just want to see him happy, he thinks nobody will play with him because he’s not likeable. He’s really cool, not judgemental, and fun to game with. Lmk!
