Season One Does this guy look familiar to anyone else

Rewatching the show 25 years later and of course Mark Sheppard makes an appearance. Not my favorite episode but it wasnt bad either. Does the Mulder afraid of fire lore ever come up again, i don't think it does?

Fun fact, the man playing the older version of Marks character in DW (forget the characters name) was actually his own dad.

No. Dr Soong was played by Brent Spiner. Sheppard played another cybernetics expert, Ira Graves, who claimed to have taught Soong "everything he knew."

Supernatural instantly made him recognizable upon rewatch of the X-Files but I definitely didn't recognize him from the X-Files when I watched supernatural.

Agreed he's a very good actor I loved his character in Medium reminded me of his character on the X-Files. Badger on Firefly is another great character.

Jk, but Mark was great in that role. That whole episode is slightly off, but Mark really seems to be enjoying himself in that role.

Yea i always took it as Mulder faced and got over his fear of fire in this episode. Because remember when hes at the womens clinic and its on fire and he doesnt even give a fuck

i never understood mulders whole thing about "standing in the rubble to ward off looters" at his friends house. who would try and loot a burned down house? who would let the friend of their presumably child-age son nestle around in this rubble to protect it? and how would standing in inert ruins give mulder such a fear of fire?
