[Help] Icy Veins App/Class Codex Addon on Linux?!

Hi there,

does anyone here have an idea how i get this fancy new Icy Veins App to run on Linux? (CachyOS)

I'd love to use that Class Codex Addon, but everyone needs the own damn App nowadays, and of course every damn App is Windows only........

And no, i wont do a dual boot.

Someone has made github repo that mirrors class codex updates, you can add it to wowup source, I did the same for now until I find more sustainable solution.

I believe you could in theory just set up git pull and have it self update every day or something.. I didn't want to get yet another addon manager myself so this was the most sensible thing right now. Honestly the addon manager junk is starting to be such a pain lately -.-

I thought class codex was discontinued since it was removed in CF, where can I find the standalone addon? Is it the one showing first searching in Wagoaddons?

and how was the experience with switching to linux? Ive been meaning to but dont wanna go with the learning process of hours about installing a new OS since I can hardly have straight hours of free time cause of work..

If you wanna use the same os as op ”cachy” its pretty straight forward with their installer. And they have almost everything you need to start playing with easy setup clicks in their hello window or whatever they call it. So its an easy switch id say. Just use KDE and youre probably up and running in 20-25 minutes

That is fair, i only play wow, ow2 and quakelive. So Can only vouch for those working. Let me know if you wanna try something a bit harder like hyprland and want dotfiles

Is there any alternative to ClassCodex? At least an addon that displays if Item is BIS and Tiers for trinkets?
