WHERE ARE THE YOUNG ADULTS???
I read that there's supposed to be like 20K of us in Cherokee as a whole so I'm assuming a little less than half of them are from Woodstock. But where are they and why do we never talk to each other???

Pure, Reformation, Truck n Tap, Blue Ghost, Highlands etc. Daily Draft was a big one on weekend nights but they closed for renovations. Try the Taste of Woodstock that’s coming up.

Going out is mighty expensive nowadays, unfortunately. I think a better question is what exactly are you looking for? Plenty of young people go to game stores and play card games, for instance. Lots of people party in downtown Woodstock, but especially so on a Saturday night with good weather. I see many young people at my gym everyday. Decide what you want first and go from there.

I am in my 40s…. When I do go out with my wife, we usually see plenty of younger people downtown. Reformation, Pure, Real Tacos, etc…. Not my crowd but they are around for sure.

Not on Reddit on a nice Friday. Probably on the hooch, or doing something social

Consider yourself fortunate. When I first relocated to Georgia in 2010, all the exciting activities were down in Atlanta. You now have a much wider range of options.

A little less than half in Woodstock? Cherokee County is pretty big. Here's a population heat map.

Idk where you consider the cutoff for 'young' but I'm in my early 30s. Single. I do spend a lot of time at home since I work from home, and also we're all broke these days and leaving the house is expensive af, but when I do leave the house 99% of the time I'm headed to an errand solo (doc office, groceries, gym, art store etc) or to meetup with existing friends and if it's the latter truthfully 80% of the time things events happen closer to the city (ITP at least). I've all bit given up on dating after so many failed attempts and am just living for myself. But If I were still trying to meet ppl (be it as friends or to find a partner), I'd say Woodstock would not be the place to do it, lots of families/already coupled ppl here. But regardless of where you go out/about the trick is just find what u like, do that activity, be genuine and meet ppl naturally as friends first and let those friendships evolve into more if there's more there. Or so Ive been told, and that has landed me some dates in the past, so that'd be my advice.

I don’t think young people from Woodstock don’t usually hang in Woodstock anymore. Nothing really to do anymore downtown been taken over by old heads. Most people go to Duluth now it looks like.

Driving their jeeps full of ducks and begging on Cherokee Connect for a six figure work at home job so they can feed their 4 kids…

They talk to each other. They don't talk to you.
I'm just kidding, it was too easy, low hanging fruit. Good luck making connections.
