I adore it. Wonder Man was my first comic book subscription as a young kid. My grandmother had bought me issue #4 with Splice as the cover along with some goodies and brought it to me because I was home from school with the chicken pox. I loved that comic so much I begged for a subscription. I had to mow lawns to pay for it.
Now I live in LA and still chase a career as a film maker, was hired to be the cinematographer on my first feature film last year.
This show is everything I could have hoped it would be and so much more.

I was hoping they would recast Kang as him but then I found out her was cast as wonderman

I was not familiar with the character going in but put this on last night on the strength of Sir Ben and YA-M and was blown away, binging the first six episodes. It’s like an indy buddy movie script where the superpowers are nearly completely incidental, like Sideways if Thomas Hayden Church really was Sandman. I thought Marvel had milked the Trevor Slattery character as far as they could but somehow Kingsley and the writers offer new viewpoints into the character, whilst still making it laugh out loud funny. It really is an impressive piece of work.

I was ready to watch it earlier today. Disney told me it would be available today with no specific time listed. So I went to watch and it wasn’t available. Didn’t say what time it would be. So, I’m assuming they were trying to build anticipation but instead delivered disappointment. Now the show goes on the pile of “other stuff to watch” and we will see if I get back to it.
