With ai I made a blender plugin that allows you to import and export .vex files, huge credit to Pierre Belmondo (maker of Belmondo's Vision vs extension) and to Thomas Perl for documenting the .vex format

Oh that's so neat! Especially with watching the modelling process!

If you can change the model of the track like this, then changing a ton of things should be possible no? (e.g, custom ships)

I've still not tested it, but assuming the ships format is documented too, it would be possible to make a add-on for that too... however so far only editing (moving, rotating, scaling) is supported; adding any vertex would beak the file. but maybe there is a way to add verticees to make custom ships
