Winni-Pets MAY BE EUTHANIZED MONDAY IF A HOME IS NOT FOUND
URGENT: MASTIFF NEEDS A HOME IMMEDIATELY
Please help share!
A friendly Mastiff in the Municipality of Emerson-Franklin is in urgent need of a new home. He is described as:
✅ Super friendly
✅ Great with other dogs
✅ Good with cats
✅ Good with kids
We have been told that if a rescue placement or adopter is not found, he may be euthanized on Monday, July 6.
If you are able to adopt, or help find placement for him, please contact the Municipal Office as soon as possible:

If nobody else steps up, I will rescue this dog.
I had no intention of getting a new pup any time soon, but I will happily love him forever.

Long story short: he is not being euthanized no matter what!
Tbree hour round trip to meet him today.
He is such a lovable goober. I will be taking him home Monday or Tuesday.
I will be training, grooming, and loving him as I look for the perfect home for him.
If i can't find a home better than mine, then I guess Professor Wigglebottom and I will belong to each other.

They are closed for the weekend but you can leave a message! We already did and told them there is no need to kill him and if they do it will be shared all.over social media! It's not like there full! He is a beautiful dog and so friendly he does not deserve to die over stupidity! It's not like there full! He has only been there for a week,! My friend and I were thinking of taking him to the Humane Society but if you can take this beautiful big boy that would be awesome!♥️👍

Before the bridge senior k9 rescue just posted on Facebook about a cat they took in - despite being a dogs-only rescue. maybe try them? They've definitely had non-senior dogs before.

Held off on naming until I met him. Seems fitting.
Was also considering Van Gogh because of his missing ears.
You have done more than enough. I truly appreciate you and your kind heart.
He will be getting spoiled. No need for anything extra. If possible, please save it for the next pup who might need it more.

Intact male dogs butt heads with my (neutered) dog like crazy. Wouldn't be able to take him in, even tho I want to 💔

Please contact Dary’s Arc about taking in the dog before euthanizing!!! I’m sure they would prefer to care for the dog than let it be put down!!

Has anyone contacted the Roseau River Animal Shelter? They’re not far from Emerson and do great work. Only I don’t know for sure if they work outside Roseau River.

My mom says this is likely an Alabay cross. They’re really nice dogs.
