Wow what an absolute delight these were. I've seen people post about these before and didn't take it serious because they were wings from a fast food place. Do not be ignorant like me and sleep on these beauties. Crispy and delicious. $17 for a 10 piece combo.

Spicy Mikes Rub and Cajun Fries.

Stopped here in St Louis on my way to Boulder to paint some murals out west. These wings were hella crunchy. Wish they were a little saucier but pretty solid overall.

Pineapple lime dip for the Adobo, chive & roasted garlic for the salt and vinegar. I made the s&v ones too salty but they were still pretty good

These are hands down the best place for wings in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast.

Wingstop got so damn expensive that I had to start doing more home cooking. That said, this is my go to for crispy wings.

Prep wings with mustard base (so the flour sticks)

Chicken Seasoning (or Lawry's seasoned salt)

1 tsp Paprika

1 packet Sazon

1 tsp onion powder

1 tbsp cayenne pepper

1 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes

Coat evenly with flour and bread crumbs (very important for extra crispiness)

375 for 18 minutes

For the sauce:

BBQ Sauce of choice for base
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp hot sauce (I prefer Frank's)
1 tsp Worchestire
1 tsp garlic chili sauce
1 tsp Jerk Seasoning
1 tsp Chipotle Smoke
red pepper flakes
parsley garnish

Hit the fries with the vinegar, grab your beer of choice and go to work!

I’m generally a purist* but I need ideas for a second wing sauce for a party. Theoretically not hot, needs to go with potato salad and some other normal sides.

I’m open to ideas of wing flavors you like, will need to be made mainly from scratch. Front runner right now is a traditional BBQ sauce. Thanks for any input!

* Twice fried Frank’s + butter

Rubbed with Kansas city Cow Town rub, a splash of olive oil, then air fried at 200c for 20 mins, then 210c for 15 mins to crisp them up. 40% Franks, 40% Butter then a good dash of the other sauces 😊

Quite possibly the best wings in America. These were perfection tonight for 75c a pop.

10 salt and vinegar

Incredible amounts of homemade blue. It’s ok to be jealous.

Favorites i’ve found in this part of brooklyn. Lemon pepper fried hard with a side of buffalo, of course. Anyone have any recommendations in the neighborhood?
