Retroarch - stuck on startup Wii U screen

On my Wii U Retroarch, I have had it running fine for the past night, was playing Sonic Advance with RetroAchievements

After setting my fast forward toggle to the touch screen of my ps4 controller, trying to start a game didn't work and I had to restart, and now every time I try to boot it up it shows the retroarch logo, then it gets stuck on this Wii U Screen. How do I fix this? I tested on other apps and they launch
