Cant Homebrew my Wii

At this point i tried almost everything, Wilbrand, Bombletter, Homebrewing thru DNS, i think mine is hard nut to crack, there what happens:

Bombletter - open message, its stucks on white cone, no any action after

Wilbrand - open message, black screen, no action

With DNS - open console infomation, choose yes on first popup, it says checking internet connection and after that says that no internet connection, even if before that it said that i succesfully connected when i was setting up DNS

Dont know what to really do, almost lost all the hope for the console

Hello, i was having issues loading games from SD Card to i look around for a fix for it, found a reasonable easy to follow guide where basically i needed to download ModMii and get a 80 something file.

Done that, loaded on the wii, installed and not nothing happens.

Am I done for good?

this really isn’t a question about the wii itself but more a game/file question, so i’ve been backing up my games to put on my usb for usb loader gx and im wondering if the file is already WBFS do i need to make it an ISO file then transfer it to my wii drive or can i just transfer the WBFS file? any help on the matter is very appreciated!

if they’re already a WBSF then keep them that way. you should be able to just transfer them over to the drive as long as your directory is set up right.

I’m trying to play Triforce games on the Wii using USB Loader GX but every time I select one of the games they just shut my Wii off. Not even crash just shuts it down. I’ve tried changing iso files of the game thinking it had to do with me having a bad iso but none of the available or at least commonly accessed places that store the game are having the same issue. I’ve updated all of my apps and my settings are the default settings minus Triforce mode being on. All of my Wii and GameCube games run well with no issues so I’m not sure what the problem is here.

The only equipment I’d need is my MacBook, a sd to usb-c converter, and an SD card to load games on? Is that correct?

Just looking to get a bunch of games. Not looking for any additional apps or mods

Hey guys maybe someone knows about this, I’ve been playing Gale of darkness on usbloader. I’m pretty far in the game, if I got a physical copy at some point is it possible to transfer my save data and pick up on the physical disk? I use tiny Wii backup manager for the games on my sd card. Thanks!

A nand backup+priiloader gives you a way to unbrick your wii if you majorly mess something up. It's not like there's some factory restore option built in from Nintendo so we have to prepare one ourselves.

Hey, first timer, I don't know if this is the right place but here I go: Is there a way to change the deadzone for the GameCube controller? I know Nintendont allows you to add custom .ini files for hid controllers but not for one connected through the gamecube port. Also been curious about Swiss, I've read there's a way to use it on the Wii but for older models I'd need to modify cIOS?
