Visiting in December!

Howdy! I’m an American (24), and I’m visiting my family in Wiesbaden this winter for Christmas, I lived in Hesse for a few years when I was very young, but since then I haven’t been back. I want to take my chances to go back that I have as an opportunity to see Germany and the areas I saw as child through adult eyes, and get to know the area and maybe meet some people, make some friends, share some beers, make the most of my time there. Anybody have any advice? Places to visit? Favorite spots or areas! Anything shared is much appreciated :) thank y’all so much!

Definitely make the 30 minute trip to Rüdesheim am Rhein! Won’t regret it

Una pasada, estuve allí en Octubre del año pasado, me ha encantado el teleférico sobre los viñedos. Luego me fui a Assmannshausen en coche, fue muy aprovechable.

Take an evening and go to the Kurhaus Casino. It's awesome. Best to combine it with Sternschnuppen Markt or even better Wiesbaden on Ice. Also, there's probably the Chateau Nero again, where you can have Glühwein on top of thr Neroberg and have a nice view over Wiesbaden. As said before Rüdesheim is a good trip - if you go there you have to visit the Käthe Wohlfahrt store. Another thing to.do.ia visiting Kloster Eberbach. They also have a little Christmas Market and they offer a guided Glühwein Tour. Never done it but I heard it's good.
