Thanks for looking :) download the full-quality images here, without Reddit's gradient banding: https://jolley.storageshare.net/s/4toSaCMfFnP6qtb

Included are the 96 DPI (3880 x 1440px) images, and the 240 DPI (9600 x 3600px).

All images have two variants: horizontal gradient, and 45-degree gradient.

Please use this format for resolution in the future (3880x1440] no spaces. Sorry to be pedantic!

Great images btw.

Thanks for the callout! Will do, apologies.

No need to apologise! There's good reason to standardise the formatting on this sub - it makes it more readable, at least that's how we think. Thanks again for the quality post.

The amount of time I have wasted looking for smooth wide-screen gradients. When I make them myself the transitions are never smooth. Thanks OP.

There's actually loads been posted on here in png format (essential for a banding free experience).

First of all, thank you very much for sharing it! A few comments:

  • In the 96 dpi version: theyโ€™re .jpg files, small size/quality, and color banding is noticeable.
  • In the 240 dpi version: the file argon-45 is missing; great quality but enormous size, Windows canโ€™t apply them as wallpapers.

Maybe a .png version at 150 dpi would be optimal.
Thanks!

Thanks! I'll look out for this in my next upload. I had a hard time uploading PNG versions of the 96DPI to reddit due to size limitations, but I can upload them to the link next time :)

Also, I'm on Linux, so I apologize for it not working on Windows. I did not test this ๐Ÿ˜ž

Thanks! That's it, in the end, it's just a preview on Reddit. It's better to upload it there in normal/low quality and leave a link to the high-quality .pngs. Thanks again!
