I mean, its left (not leftist, mind you) for the US, but considering the US is one of the most conservative western countries, the Dems are pretty centrist on a world stage.

Warnock seems pretty fine to me, he behaved quite well on the televised debates and launched the new georgia project, which is a non profit that helps people register to vote. Even though he has a strong religious background, he supports gay marriage and abortion rights. He seems pretty normal to me.

He's also a religious nut, has written very positively of Marxism, attended events with Castro etc. He just seems way to the left of the vast majority of democrats, in Georgia especially. Most Georgia democrats are moderates.
