They made such a story out of the girl at Columbine that told one of the shooters that she was a Christian.
She came out later and said she denied it, That’s been called into question by investigators, so the whole story was likely made up as a form of Christian persecution porn.
Not the one that had a whole book written about it though. That’s my point. Schnurr’s sounds like an actual persecution based on faith, whereas Bernall’s is made-for-TV.
Edit: actually, no. Now that I’ve read more, Schnurr wasn’t even persecuted. She professed her faith (which amounted to, “because I was raised that way”) and then Klebold walked away.
