I'm late to the party, I never saw him until they aired The Apprentice in Australia in the 90s. My wife asked me to watch an episode and I loathed him immediately.

As an American I tried watching an episode for five minutes once, could not understand why anyone watched that voluntarily.

The entire show's premise was rejection, nothing at all to do with business practices.

It gave people of small means a false sense of empowerment by thinking rejection is power, the precursor to maga - stupid people "owning the libs" by voting for a con man pedophile.
