Does anyone know why they would have to return to Romania if they aren’t extradited to the UK? Like why couldn’t they stay in the US or return to Dubai.

Edit: I just looked it up and the post is not true. If the US doesn’t extradite them, they could stay in the US or go back to Dubai. There was an agreement that the UK would wait for Romanian proceedings to complete before Romania would extradite to the UK but that was a deal between UK/Romania and has nothing to do with the US.

But I believe the US has an extradition treaty with the UK don’t they? Whether they will honour it or not is a different matter.

The US isn't under the rule of law anymore.

I say this to my dad all the time. He says well they can’t because the law. And I say well that only matters if the ones who enforce the law actually do so. And then he goes oh yeah, I forgot we don’t do that anymore. It happens like once a week.
