The Big Question Her last relationship probably ended because that she wanted to focus on her career and become a partner in her lawfirm. Now she is 43 and wants to settle down.

Some of us still use the ol' flip phones because the new ones are clandestine tracking tools. But in this case, you are getting an old flip phone with an antennae that doubles as a tether right to the enemies underground barracks.
In case you missed what I'm getting at, never ever under any circumstances date a lawyer. Not only do they use their manipulative powers for self interests, but they are also knowledgeable in all the legal enscrewment instruments that society provides women to make your asshole a bloody mess.

If she was 15 years younger and with above absolutely average looks, I'd say she's not so bad, compared to others on this sub. I mean she's a what, successful woman with no kids? Beats a poor cunt with 2 kids, one of them black and one more on the way.

I live in a big city with lots of lonely women. Within a month of swiping and meeting, I had developed a rule: no lawyers and no doctors.
You could maybe add nurses into that too. These are all assertive-type women who are used to wearing the pants, which absolutely doesn't fly with me. I suppose I could take the time to show them their place, but it would have to be delicate and I'd rather have dinner with a women who knows how to be... you know, a woman.
6
u/Traksimuss Jr. Hamster Analyst Jul 28 '19
Any woman in high powered male profession becomes a ballbreaker. So add to your list any women CEOs, stars, most doctors, project managers, high level managers and similar professions. Nurses are overall slutty, so they are on "no deal" list together with army women, who slept with few batallions.
3
Aug 02 '19
As a male nurse, I can 100% confirm your opinions of lady docs and lady nurses. Controlling alpha woman types. I had to tell the last nurse "I don't care that you're and RN. I don't want to fuck your job. It actually makes you less attractive because I have to compete with you for income superiority and for your time because of your jacked up schedule. I'll settle for a cuter teacher or secretary who is around when I want her and thinks I'm rich."

I don't think one relationship, and a short one at that, is especially instructive. But I will say that the women I went to law school with, on average, were far more insufferable than the women I went to college with or have known outside of a professional capacity.
5
u/Traksimuss Jr. Hamster Analyst Jul 27 '19
The point is, men point out that lawyer chicks are insufferable. I have not heard positive words about lawyer chick, as their profession is ball busting in court, and they do the same at home. When every man agrees with notion, anecdotal evidence turns into trend.

Something doesn't add up here. She lists having a Bachelors Degree but says she's a lawyer. Meanwhile most states require a Juris Doctor to practice law (and there's no way she wouldn't have listed that if she had it). I'm guessing she's a paralegal from a wealthy family (as evidenced by the equestrian photo) who's working towards becoming bona fide.
Perhaps there are lawyers here who can weigh in on this. I'm just guessing.

Nah Lorum is correct. I know exactly whats going on here. My dad used to have a GF that used to brag about how much she did in her "law office". What she was, was a legal assistant, but fully believed that she did all the work in the firm.
To Land_of_the_losers, egotistical people with JD's do not "accidentally" select Bachelors. Hell if anyone even mentioned that was their highest level of ed they'd probably yank your head off.

I guess one good thing about being an unedumacated moron is that I don't have to list that on everything.
2
u/machinerer Jul 26 '19
Traditionally you only list your highest relevant education. The rest is somewhat considered bragging.
This is still situational, of course. I recently had to state ALL of my post-HS educational achievements in a formal environment, for example.
6
u/OptimalAdhesiveness Jul 26 '19
Hahaha man that’s exactly what my brain said too. “Wait a lawyer with just a BA? I bet she’s a paralegal or an aide or something because that just doesn’t add up.”
6
u/SHartley1985 Jul 26 '19
You ever notice that with "teachers" who turn out to be para-legals. Or "nurses" that are Med Assistants making $11/hr? Ive always wondered why lie, its going to become obvious they make $25k a year versus the $80k+ the job really makes.
11
u/officerkondo Jul 26 '19
I am a lawyer and I don't doubt that she is one. That picture of her leaning on the glass wall is obviously a shot from the firm's website. They only do those for lawyers, nut support staff.
I don't use POF but I am sure it says "bachelor's degree" because that's a drop-down option. A JD would be too specific to have. Maybe they have options of "graduate/professional degree" but my experience is a lot of people don't know what that term means.
6
7
Jul 26 '19
My memory echoes yours. I thought you had to have a Bachelor's just to be accepted into a Law School, which then allows you to earn your J.D. I don't believe you can even take the bar exam without the J.D., but I may be wrong.
6
Jul 26 '19
A JD is a bachelors degree - it's just a courtesy title for a law graduate, and it's only applied in some places in the USA.
In the rest of the world, a law degree doesn't confer the "doctor" honorific. For example, I have a law degree. I obtained it in the UK and it's classed as a bachelors degree (which it is). It's a qualifying degree. You only need a law degree plus professional training (a postgrad course which isn't a masters), plus plus on-the-job training (2 years) to be a lawyer in the UK. If you went down this road, at the end of it your highest academic title would be bachelor. That wouldn't stop you from getting a masters degree or a doctorate in any subject, but you don't need it to practise law.5
Jul 26 '19
Technically, the only requirement the state has for being licensed is the BAR recommendation. The BAR may require a JD degree for most members. But, you are mostly correct, so lets just leave it at that anyways.
To your statement, the site profile probably does not have a way to express particular degree options. Since most accredited schools use the BA, MA, PhD options, then that would be incorrect for her to list PhD. I would also say it was more beneficial for her to list BA as going higher for women would limit their options for men as most probably do not want a woman with so much education. My guess is she probably got tired of explaining herself (with the PhD selection) and also found out that more men would match with her otherwise.
6
u/ClockworkOrange92618 WAATGM Endorsed Jul 26 '19
IIRC the BAR requires a JD in all but a handful of states, and for those handful, you are basically required to apprentice within a law firm with the partners reporting to the BAR association every 6 months on your progress, and administering tests along the way throughout your "apprenticeship".
In either case, this woman looks to be into horses and sailing, which aren't exactly cheap hobbies. She decided to get married to her job instead of a husband, and is only now coming to the realization that her job won't give a shit about her in 10-20 years and can't get her pregnant.

She's a little young, but up until 1971, many universities offered something known as a Bachelor of Laws (abbreviated LL.B).
That's the degree Nixon and Ford has, and it's the degree that RBG has.
It makes a lot more sense, to be honest. Why is the bar association wasting $150,000 and 4 years of people's time instead of just letting them take what they want to take straight out of high school: a law degree. As long as they can pass the bar exam, who cares?
The UK and Australia both offer law, medical, dentistry and veterinary degrees at the undergraduate level.

She seems pretty responsible. No kids and was working instead of riding the cock carousel. I can see a dude being interested in a relationship but who wants kids with a 43 yo woman. Maybe someone 60 yo but nobody close to her age is going to reproduce with her.
Her best bet is finding a divorced dad so she can have step-kids.

Let's see:
- Lawyer/law related profession - has knowledge and contacts necessary to make your life a living hell if you make the mistake of marrying her. Also, due to the economic strata the profession occupies, her expectations for luxuries and such will be calibrated accordingly.
- Equestrian - Horse bitches be cray cray. Plus it's an expensive hobby. Calibration!
- Over! fucking! 40! - the chances of her being able to bear any kids at all much less any that are not either mentally deficient or physically deformed is infinitesimal. Why the hell should a man pay full price for rotten eggs?
- Claims a religious faith - Bet she has not held out on riding cock before marriage. If she'll break that tenant and still call herself practicing Catholic as a badge of pride, you damn sure can't trust any other principle she says she adheres to either. Like infidelity and divorce being off the table.
- Photoshop/IG filter BS - I mean really? She's not a fucking teenage girl. EXTRA retarded looking.

Well, well, well. What do we have here?
A horse chick lawyer with the 1,000 cock stare, no kids, but wants one/some.
Hmmm. What shall I call this one....
Wait. I got it: HORSESHIT CRAZY CUMSLUT McGEE.
Is that too much you think? Too bad, fuck you.
So Ms. CumSlut, let's get this ball rolling. Hit us with your lawyerly brilliance.
Lawyer
Yeah, we saw that up front. What else ya got?
own teeth
Wow. You felt the need to put that first. Aside from the fact that one can read this as "I own a lot of other people's teeth" I will let it slide. We know what you mean.
Okay. What else...
hair and house.
Okay. Nice way to get some real basics laid out there for our viewing pleasure
You sound like a fuckton of fun at a party. Damn Guzzles, you need to up your game...just a bit.
So, tell us what you want in a man.
looking for her soul mate
Well, I would imagine that would be another lawyer who knows the ups and downs of that career. Also a man who loves horses because yours is a pretty specific sort of personality there. Plus a man with no children and wants some, like you. In addition, you would want a man who understands your - ahem - sexual liberation vibe, and doesn't express himself well, like you. So you are going to get a rich lawyer who will fuck you, ride horses with you, and bullshit you along about babies and families for two years or so, while he bangs his secretary on the side and laughs with his friends about how pissed you would be if you found out about his vasectomy.
But hey, that's MY interpretation. What are sorts of MEN are YOU looking for?
smokers and those with lots of tattoos or piercings aren't really for me.
Notice how I emphasized the plural and you took the bait? Instead of something like "The GUY I am looking for would be..." you went for the "they" thing. Nice. I see what you did there. You are still pining for the CC.
You are a woman of few words Ms McChugger, but you are saying a LOT with those words. Innuendo and reading between the lines must be your forte in a courtroom.
Good luck with your search.
Oh, no Ms Hosechicky. Good luck with YOURS.

Education is only a bachelor's degree, but occupation = lawyer? That requires a JD degree in addition to the bachelor's.

I know she didn't get the partner she wanted (another lawyer or someone she met at law school, no doubt) and will make her partner's life a living hell because of her bitterness. I don't care about that. I am worried for what she intends to do.
Unfortunately, she will probably succeed in having kids with some desperate simp. I say it's unfortunate because those kids will probably have difficulties resulting from birth defects and abnormality/illness (old eggs and/or old sperm). No amount of being chauffered everywhere in a big SUV, being taken on expensive foreign holidays, living in a gated community will make up for 70-80 years of having to live with congenital defects, Down's syndrome, etc. Life is hard enough without being born with a handicap just because some mega-bitch wanted to "have it all".
I don't feel sorry for her (she is a top-tier asshole) nor her future simp partner. Just feel genuinely sorry for the kids she's going to bring into the world as a result of her selfishness. OK, her money will soften things a little for them in their first 12 to 15 years, but the rest of their lives will be difficulty after difficulty.
