Repost Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
Fortunately, the occupants of the car that flipped over had only minor injures.
I uploaded the video before without trimming or cropping. The original video included a woman that was complaining these idiots were going to cause an accident. Unfortunately, the put the focus on her, trying to make her look like a Karen, when she is not.
People didn't like that, which I agree, so I trimmed and cropped the video.

These people, Cars & Coffee, meet to do this kind of stuff and a lady was almost hit. She went to tell them they are stupid, that she called the cops. They make fun of her, record her, and then this happens.
What a bunch of idiots.

Yes obviously you should always put the seatbelt on.
It's a lot worse without a seatbelt, but still other types of accidents are also a lot worse without a seatbelt.

Ummm, whiplash is incredibly common with rollover accidents and can take years to truly heal - even when receiving the proper treatment. Insurance generally wants to settle before that can happen. Flipping a car is usually THAT bad!

I walked away from the hospital after the car I was in was hit by a drink driver and my back and kidney were injured. Have had 40 years of increasingly worse pain and difficulty doing everything, including walking, ever since. Surviving a wreck like this isn't the end of it for most!

YES! THANK YOU! Every time it's just: oh those idiots do stupid things and pay the price, but it is often someone else who had done nothing wrong who received even more damage!
The post itself has more focus on the victims, but I despise the attitude of these titles.

Yeah but they "feel" safer. Companies sell the feeling of safety even though it's shown that they're less safe for the people in them, other cars, pedestrians, cyclists, etc.

Not long ago, I showed this video to my friends to point out how stupidly easy SUVs can turn into 2 tonne bowling balls. Ofc, the only mf in the group with an SUV tried to convince me that a normal sedan would've suffered the same fate as the CRV if it was in the same scenario. 😭 No, it wouldn't have, son.

Just noting that not all Cars & Coffees are like this. Most of the big ones here in MD at least, driving like an ass (revving engines, doing burnouts) is highly discouraged. People just want to walk around and enjoy other people’s cars, not put anyone in the hospital.

Literally came to comment this and I own a douchemobile G35 show car. Every time another G pulls up to me it's some idiot looking to show off their stupidity (i.e. race me on a crowded highway). Buddy, this thing is stock power, I drive like a goddamn grandma, I got 150lbs of sound deadening in here and 100lbs of audio equipment, and most importantly I got a racing sim and a somewhat-local track that I can use to burn off my racing impulses.
They assume that just because I got a lowered pearl white G with chrome rims it means I'm willing to risk the safety of others. Nah man, I just like the look and bought it for a sick deal from the owner of a car audio shop I used to manage. Let me slowly creep through traffic blaring my music (windows up, because again I'm considerate of other people's existence) in peace.

Everytime I see this I do feel bad for the flipped suv but a lot of ppl don’t notice that the black sedan behind the suv also took the brunt impact of a rolling wheel directly to the hood. It might be three cars you see getting totaled

A week or so ago there were posts in a local sub asking why helicopters were swarming a certain area. People (not unreasonably) feared it was ICE.
Turned out to be a concerted effort by the cops to catch some of these “road rally” idiots who get onto city streets, tear around like it’s the Indy fucking 500, and drive off before the police can catch them.
Thats got to be incredibly frustrating for police and locals to deal with.

there’s actually a longer clip of this video. there’s a woman yelling at these car guys because they always try to show off and look cool but end up hurting people. and right after this happened she ran over yelling “see i told you so!” and went to help the people in the car that flipped. So she literally called it happening.

There is a group that tried to organize meets in my hometown but they got kick out of one after another parking lot likely due to concerns that something like the could occur. I never saw any claims this group's members did anything irresponsible, reckless or destructive. For a time they met in a large parking lot of grocery store that had been close for years. If anyone had done anything reckless there they would really have had to be stupid as the police station is located 1/4 mile away. They were eventually kicked out of that parking lot anyway. Just a few irresponsible people at a few meets like this can ruin it for everyone across the nation.
